Normal West Band Fundraising

Here are the fundraising events we have scheduled to support Normal West Bands. Please add these dates to your calendar and plan to support the excellent band traditions at Normal West. If you have questions or want to volunteer, contact Mike Neuber at 862-3054, or the contact person listed for the event. Also, keep checking the band website for updates and changes to this calendar.

For questions about any fundraiser, contact Donna Moravec at dkmoravec@msn.com or 454-7780.

What does it mean to be a Contact person for a fundraiser?

For any fundraiser:

• Answer any student or parent’s questions regarding the fundraiser.
• Make sure the band website gets updated with any information about the fundraiser by contacting Mike Neuber at 862-3054.
• Handle any money and record keeping for the event. After the event, give the money to Jeff or Brenda Leopard.
• Solicit any help needed from other parents at concerts or other band events.
• Communicate work/selling/pick up schedule to parents and students.
• Provide instructions and training to student and parent volunteers.
• Please contact Mike Neuber at 862-3054 if you have any questions or need help in making arrangements for the fundraiser.

Car Wash & Bag for Tips:

• Confirm date and time with the business.
• Arrange for signs, tables, towels, sponges, soap, hoses, etc. (supplies/equipment for event)

Food and Item Sales:

• Make arrangements with fundraising company.
• Prepare order forms to be handed out to the students.
• Pick up student orders from Band directors.
• Place order with company
• Arrange delivery/pick up of merchandise from company.
• Sort orders and package for student distribution.
