Concert Band

The program offers four concert band courses throughout the school year. The courses are Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Winds, Symphonic Band, and Concert Band. Each band meets daily during the school year. Rotation of parts encourages rapid student development and gives everyone a chance to develop their range and technical skills. The Normal West Wind Ensemble has placed first in their class or been the honor band at the Illinois Super State Music Festival for seven years.
